JOY HAS LEFT THE MARKET... By Emeka Anslem

Image
There is no greater joy than the joy of the Lord. Not even the joy of having children, or a wife, or an husband. The joy of living a purposeful life can't even be compared to that joy. Jesus lived according to His purpose while He was on earth, but a time came when He had to look up to the joy that was set before Him. The bible says we should look up to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame. How would you feel when the people you have so much love for decides to crucify you? If your source of joy was from them, then you'd definitely lose your joy. Don't make any man the source of your joy; rather, let the joy of salvation dwell richly in you. Any joy that is not traceable to God is a selfish one, and is bound to be lost. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength. When God gives you joy, it naturally transcends to your family, business and life. Many people have not communed with God sinc...

Unsung champion

Image
Trophies doesn't always matter But braveness of the snail that raced with a cheetah It's not always about being a winner But reviving the long dead spirit of a learner It’s not always about feathers touching the sky But determination of the hen that flew high Winning over quitting deserves a medal For there's inequality in each success ladder So bury sadness, oh unsung champion! For it's dangerous than the venom of a scorpion S-one speaking   (Dedicated to those that are yet to achieve their dreams despite their efforts)   Poem Analysis:  The poem projects that, sometimes success isn't always about achieving ones’ dream but the ability to work on the dream amidst all odds. Some people will achieve success in a blink of an eye while some will take years before they achieve their success. What really matter is the determination to keep striving, which according to the poet, deserves a medal. ....copied
