According to a report published by the Punch Newspaper, Nigeria imported 234,324 metric tonnes of palm oil between January and September 2023, up from 141,786 MT in the corresponding period of 2022, indicating an increase of 92,538 MT. When I saw this report that Nigerian imports of palm oil from Malaysia have increased to 65.3%, I couldn't wrap my head around this report. I was sad for so many reasons.
